How to Join AJS
Membership Privileges
- Can enhance understanding issues related to Japan-US issues by participating in AJS’s programs with the opportunities of directly meeting experts, professionals and business leaders both from Japan as well as US.
- Can have special and unique experiences such as lectures by US Ambassador (who is the Honorary President of AJS) and high ranking officers of the U.S. Embassy, New Year Party at the US Ambassador’s residence or visits to U.S. Military Bases.
- Can enrich new personal network through AJS’s functions for the members.
- Can participate in programs of other America-Japan Societies in Japan and in the U.S.

How to Join AJS
Anybody who is interested in mutual understanding/friendship exchange between Japan and US and wishes to become a member, shall fill the Membership Application form and send it to the AJS office with your photo.
The application requires one current sponsor member’s recommendation signature on it. In case there is no sponsor, please leave it blank and send the application to us.
The Application Form will be reviewed by the Membership Committee and the final confirmation letter will be sent to you later by mail. Please note that we cannot return your resume regardless of the results.

If Student Associate member wishes to continue membership, ¥3,000 annual rate will apply until age of 30
No fees needed for Intern students of the Society
