インターンOG 石井さんを囲む会
2019年8月6日(火)、日米協会オフィスにて、日米協会学生インターンのOGである石井莉咲さんを囲む座談会を学生インターンらが開催した。石井さんは大学を卒業後、大手銀行で働き、現在はシリコンバレーにて世界有数のアクセラレータ/VCに勤務しておられる。石井さんからは、アクセラレータのビジネスモデル、ITテクノロジーの動向など、滅多に耳にすることができない最先端のベンチャー・ビジネスに関するお話を伺うことができた。アットホームな雰囲気の中、参加の学生らは良い意味で危機感を覚え、視野を広げることができた。また、学生からの質問にもお答えいただき、近い将来社会人となる学生にとって価値あるお話を伺う機会となった。
On August 6th, 2019, student interns on the AJS had a time to hear from Ms. Risa Ishii, who graduated AJS intern two years ago. Ms. Ishii worked at a major bank after graduating from university, and currently works at one of the world’s leading accelerators and VC in Silicon Valley. Ms. Ishii gave stories about the latest venture capital business, including how she started to work, what accelerator business model is like, and trends of IT technologies, all of which were rare to hear. She also gave valuable answers to questions from interns, whom they would be working in near future, such as how to set priorities for doing a lot of work in a limited time. Interns felt a sense of crisis in a good way and expanded their views through her stories.
