“The U.S. competitive strategy towards China”
On October 28th, the America-Japan Society held a monthly program, inviting Professor Satoru Mori, Faculty of Law, Hosei University.
Professor Mori, who specializes in the US foreign and security policy and whose recent
research focuses on the US Indo-Pacific strategy and the US defense innovation and its implications for allies, explained in detail about the Biden administration’s strategic approach of “balancing with other countries, building and promoting order” in order to realize a “free and open Indo-Pacific” from multiple perspectives in easy-to-understand language. It was a valuable opportunity to recognize future issues based on the evaluation of the Indo-Pacific strategy and the strategy toward China.
