On Tuesday, September 14, Mr. Kazuo Okamoto, Executive Director of the Japan-America Society, was invited as a guest speaker for an online session for Japan-America Society student members on the theme of “Interview with Mr. Kazuo Okamoto, Former President of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Europe, Ltd. (Executive Director of the Japan-America Society).
Based on his experiences at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd., where he has worked for over three decades both in Japan and overseas, including the life as an expatriate in the UK, he talked about career development and the requirements to be active in a global environment for students who are about to start job hunting. It was a valuable opportunity for students who are making their big life choices to have a guideline for their future.
