AJS Monthly Program ”Okinawa and the Senkaku Islands Issue”

On June 16th, the America-Japan Society held a monthly program, inviting Mr. Robert D. Eldridge, a renowned political scientist. The main theme was focused on “Okinawa and Senkaku islands”, which have drawn the attention of many AJS members in the previous AJS sessions. While we had an opportunity to have a listen to his unique analysis and insight on the issue, it seemed easy for everyone to participate after the dialogue with President Fujisaki. On the imminent security issues, such as Futenma Base, Senkaku Islands and Taiwan Strait, Mr. Eldridge showed his opinion uniquely distinguished from the official view, followed by the exchanges of the opinion on the matters with the members of the Society.
